Dino Crisis: Rebirth (Project: Crisis)

Dino Crisis is back!

Dino Crisis: Rebirth (Project: Crisis) is a modern reimagining of the classic Dino Crisis (1999) in the form of a short yet dark, independent third-person survival shooter. It was developed by Stefano Cagnani (Steven Games Studio) and initially released on October 5, 2024.

Published by Stefano Cagnani himself and available for Windows, Dino Crisis: Rebirth attempts to convey all the chilling atmosphere of the original in a modernized way, somewhat in line with the new Resident Evil games, according to the developer.

It’s worth noting that, in addition to being a relatively short game that doesn’t aim to be a 1:1 remake of Dino Crisis, Project: Crisis is a demo. As is typical of the developer, it’s quite possible it may never turn into a full game. However, aside from featuring advanced and visually appealing graphics, it brings back our beloved Regina, who still looks stunning and is, once again, killing giant lizards—just for free.
