Coltris is an indie board game developed by Mike Wiering (Wiering Software) that has a style reminiscent of old classics of the genre, but has an unique twist: you need to match single blocks, at least three of the same color, even diagonally, to make them disappear from the screen.
Released originally in 1998, to MS-DOS, it was updated several times. We have here three options, two for Windows and one for DOS. All of them are free!
Controls
- Left and Right Arrows – Move the current falling block
- Arrow Down or Space Bar – Drop the block faster
- P – Pause game and switch blocks’ colors
- ESC – Quit
