A racing and demolition deby game, FlatOut, is free, for Windows, 100% free to keep, in a time-limited GOG giveaway offer! Go get it! FlatOut can normally cost US$7.49!
FlatOut is a racing and demolition derby game that features 16 different cars, each with 5 unique skins, and drivers flying through the windshields. It was developed by Bugbear Entertainment and initially released on November 5, 2004.
Originally published by Empire Interactive (currently by Strategy First) and available for Windows, Mac, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Linux and Wii, FlatOut was met with a mixed critical reception. Despite this, it has thousands of very positive reviews on Steam and is rated 4.2/5 on GOG, at least so far.
FlatOut‘s performance on the market must have been good enough to justify the release of sequels, forming a series that up to now got five main titles.
