Anzu Castle Gracula is a platform game clearly inspired by Castlevania in which an anthropomorphic bird roams through gothic settings filled with spooky creatures.
Developed by RainbowCemetery in Qbasic, an old programming language, Anzu Castle Gracula is a free homebrew game that brings all the charm and nostalgia of the MS-DOS era, including pixel art graphics and retro sound effects, to our times combined with a typical metroidvania gameplay!
Despite the theme, which involves old castles full of skeletons, vampires and other undead creatures, the game is not scary. In fact, it looks funny. It is also available in two formats, one online for browsers, in HTML5, and another for download, for DOS.
Anzu Castle Gracula is worth checking out and you can get or play it online here!

Attention
- If you are playing the downloadable version on your modern operating system, you may need DOSBox or something that performs a similar function. Increase the cycles in DOSBox to around 10000 (CTRL + F12) to get the desired experience.
- When playing it in the browser, the game will not save unless you click the gear in the top right corner and then the disk icon.
