Severed Steel is a cyberpunk, indie first-person shooter where an agile, athletic girl — with a cannon for an arm and able to wield an assorted arsenal — takes on the bad guys. It was developed by Greylock Studio and initially released on September 17, 2021.

The game is centered about an agent, Steel, who wakes up in a garbage compactor with her arm missing and tears through hordes of enemies through her combination of sharpshooting skills, reflexes and acrobatics that allow her to evade enemy fire through slides, dives, flips, etc.

Published by Digerati and available for Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X, Severed Steel was well received by critics who reviewed it, also winning some awards. In addition, its positively reviewed by the players in the stores its listed, at least to the day of this publication.

Severed Steel is a single-player FPS featuring a fluid stunt system, destructible voxel environments, loads of bullet time, and a unique one-armed protagonist. It’s you, your trigger finger, and a steel-toed boot against a superstructure full of bad guys. Chain together wall runs, dives, flips, and slides to take every last enemy down.
