Gameplay

Mr.Brocco & Co is a 2D side-scrolling platformer in which players control one of two characters: Mr. Broccoli or Super Asparagus. Each level consists of progressing from start to finish, facing enemies and obstacles inspired by supposedly unhealthy foods.

The game features classic and accessible mechanics:

Movement and attack: the character jumps to defeat enemies; there are no special abilities that differentiate the characters.
Item collection: coins can be collected in each level but are not required to progress.
Lives and checkpoints: each character has three lives, and progress is facilitated by checkpoints throughout the levels.
Levels and challenges: the game contains 20 levels, with simple obstacles and some bosses. Levels are short and of low difficulty, aimed at beginners in platformers.
Aesthetics and narrative: comic-strip–style cutscenes complement the story and the theme of fighting junk food.
Achievements: earned by completing all levels; they do not require complex skills or extensive exploration.
