Half-Life is first-person shooter where the player assumes the role of Gordon Freeman, a scientist who must escape the Black Mesa Research Facility after it is invaded by aliens following a disastrous scientific experiment. It’s gameplay consists of combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving.
It was developed by Valve and initially released in November 19, 1998. Originally published by Sierra Studio (now by Valve itself) and made available for Windows, Linux, Mac and PlayStaiton 2, Half-Life is an undisputed success with a huge legacy.
