Drunk Driving Simulator is a free game for Windows and Mac where the player takes the wheel on an endless highway as the character becomes progressively more drunk, making driving increasingly difficult. It’s a first-person game with some top-down shots, and features a low-poly visual style reminiscent of the late 90s and early 2000s, giving it a raw and straightforward look.
The premise is simple and functional: avoid other cars, stay off the road, and don’t collide with the trees on the side of the road. The faster and further you can drive without crashing, the higher your score. The real challenge, however, lies in the gradual degradation of controls and perception, which transforms a mundane task into a constant test of reflexes and adaptation.
Developed and distributed by the independent TheBrickenChicken, the title was released on Christmas of 2025, and despite its simplicity, it has been very well received: it boasts “Very Positive” reviews on Steam. Free to play, it’s almost an interactive experiment, minimalist and straightforward, uncomfortable in just the right way.
