Cemetery Warrior 4 is an independent first-person shooter in which you control a demon seeking retaliation against his own father, who tortured him for five years, directly continuing the events of the previous title. It was developed by Falco Software and kazakovstudios, and was originally released on October 2, 2019.

The game cites inspiration from major names in the genre, such as Doom, Painkiller, and Serious Sam, and promises frantic action against hordes of monsters. While maintaining the series’ characteristic linear structure, it is indeed faster-paced than its predecessor.

Published by kazakovstudios themselves and available for Windows, Cemetery Warrior 4 currently holds dozens of mixed reviews on Steam, at least at the time of this publication. The FPS was later followed by Cemetery Warrior V (2021), Cemetery Warrior 6 (2024), and Cemetery Warrior 7 Boss Rush (2025).

Cemetery Warrior 4 is a first-person shooter in which the player controls Zexus, a demon who returns seeking revenge. Movement is slightly faster than in the previous title, featuring a sprint and a dash ability that replaces the jump, though the dash has limited range and strong visual distortion.

The game offers four main weapons — shotgun, machine gun, laser, and grenade launcher — each with specific combat functions. There is no melee weapon, and resource management is handled through ammunition found in the levels and the collection of “souls,” which function as currency to recover health and purchase more ammo. Zexus can also use supernatural abilities, such as a demonic roar capable of eliminating multiple enemies in front of him.

Enemies display varied behaviors, including jumping creatures and burrowing monsters, requiring different approaches. The game features only four main stages, characterized by small environments composed of rooms and corridors. Bosses are one of the game’s focal points, each with unique patterns, though they are often described as highly damaging and difficult to predict.
