Trivia
- The Yūbari (夕張) was an experimental light cruiser of the Imperial Japanese Navy, designed to test new naval construction technologies. It entered service in 1923, introducing a more compact and efficient design. Its lightweight structure and firepower influenced the development of future Japanese warships, especially the Fubuki-class destroyers. During World War II, the Yūbari took part in several Pacific operations but was eventually sunk by an American submarine in 1944.
