The Falconeer is an independent open-world action game set in a science fiction universe where aerial combat takes place riding on giant birds and other winged creatures prepared for war. It was developed by Tomas Sala and initially released on November 10, 2020.
Published by Wired Productions and available for Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series Furthermore, it has hundreds of very positive reviews on Steam and is rated 4/5 on GOG, at least at the time of this publication.
An enhanced version of the game that includes all DLC and a new one, titled The Falconeer: Warrior Edition, came out on August 5, 2021, to positive reviews. On March 26, 2024, a spin-off titled Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles was released, which is a city builder and exploration game that challenges you to travel through Great Ursee, the series’ post-apocalyptic water world, and rebuild a fallen civilization.
