Portal of Doom: Undead Rising is a free sci-fi horror first-person shooter set inside a space station overrun by alien creatures, mutations, and experiments gone terribly wrong.

Originally released in 2015 by indie developer Poison Games, Portal of Doom: Undead Rising is a lightweight, no-cost FPS with a dark atmosphere where you explore a scientific space facility filled with abominable threats. Armed with a set of futuristic weapons, your goal is to investigate each sector, find hidden keys and PDAs, understand what happened on the station…and survive.

Set in the year 2177, you play as a private security contractor responding to an emergency call coming from a nearby station. Once you arrive, it becomes clear that something has gone completely out of control. Now it’s up to you to uncover the truth and fight your way out of the metallic labyrinth before it’s too late.

When it comes to free indie horror FPS titles with a straight-to-the-point structure and a space ambience reminiscent of Alien: Isolation, this one fits the description well. Portal of Doom: Undead Rising runs on modest hardware, delivers constant action, and embraces that classic “guns-and-horror” feel. It’s available for Windows, Android and HTML5.
