Nubs! Arena is an indie action brawler with a top-down perspective where 4 to 20 customizable characters engage in chaotic arena battles. It was developed by Rangatang and Glowfish Interactive and was first released on May 15, 2025.

Published by Rangatang and Glowfish Interactive themselves and available for Windows, Nubs! Arena was selected as an Official Selection at The MIX Fall Showcase 2024. On Steam, it currently holds hundreds of mixed user reviews (as of the time of this post).

About the game

Embody the true chaotic warrior spirit of the Nub and put your skills to the test in a trap-filled arena. Arm yourself with a can of beans, rubber piggies, or even a fish as you battle your way to the top in frantic multiplayer showdowns.

Nubs are tiny, unpredictable warriors trapped in a relentless battle arena, fighting to be the last one standing. Whether online or in local co-op, 4 to 20 players join in fast-paced, top-down PvP combat where quick reflexes and classic roguelite effects decide who comes out on top.

Highlights

Extensively customize your Nub – Stand out in the chaos with a huge range of over-the-top outfits and outrageous color combinations. Whether you look stylish, scary, funny, or just plain ridiculous, your Nub will be one of a kind.
Loot, scavenge, and fight – Start with basic weapons, then scour the battlefield for upgrades. Open chests for more firepower or grab gear from fallen foes. They won’t be needing it anymore, right? Fight in dynamic arenas filled with deadly hazards. With spikes, lava, and all kinds of traps, your enemies aren’t the only thing to fear.
Survive… or come back – Death isn’t the end. When you’re eliminated, you become a floating star containing all your hopes, dreams, and regrets. Survive like that long enough, and you might just get another shot at victory.
Five rounds of roguelite progression – Each match consists of five intense, action-packed rounds. One match quickly turns into ten. After each round, choose a passive ability to boost your odds or make the chaos even wilder. Use strategy… or just pick the one with the funniest name. Your call.
Multiple game modes – Fight solo or in teams of up to 20 players.
Loads of weapons and power-ups – Some are strong, some are absurd, and others are just… fish.
What’s NOT included – Friends: bring your own, try matchmaking, or embrace the void.
