Bendy and the Ink Machine is an episodic, independent first-person survival horror game inspired by BioShock that follows a retired animator returning to his former workplace, where he discovers a series of strange paranormal events connected to an ink machine. It was developed by Joey Drew Studios and initially released on October 26, 2018.

The game features a cool visual style inspired by cartoons from the 1920s–1940s and is set in the fictional Joey Drew Studios, which players explore while fighting enemies, collecting items, solving puzzles, and more. Along the way, players can find voice recordings left by former employees, which help to uncover the story and the mysteries of the studio.

Published by Joey Drew Studios themselves, with versions for Linux, Windows, Macintosh, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, iOS, and Android, Bendy and the Ink Machine was generally well received by critics and even won some awards. It also boasts extremely positive reviews on major online platforms. A sort-of reboot, Bendy and the Dark Revival, was released on November 15, 2022. Another game, Bendy: Secrets of the Machine, was released on April 14, 2024, and is free to play.
