In Battle Ram, the player controls a ram inside a circular arena using only the mouse. The character follows the cursor’s movement, and the goal is to stay within the arena’s boundary while eliminating or surviving waves of incoming enemies. If the ram leaves the circle, it’s game over.

The game consists of eight levels. The first serves as a tutorial, while the following ones bring new challenges: enemies that shoot bullets, missiles that explode on contact, pushes that knock the player out of the arena, and laser beams that must be dodged with precise timing. In the later levels, Battle Ram combines all enemy types and attack patterns simultaneously, resulting in chaotic, high-intensity battles.

After each defeat, the player can restart from the level reached or reset their entire progress, in a format somewhat reminiscent of roguelike games. Although the campaign lasts roughly 40 to 45 minutes, Battle Ram features high difficulty and punishing design, rewarding precision and gradual mastery of its mechanics.
