Alessia’s Dollhouse is an indie horror adventure in a first-person escape-the-room style with survival horror elements where the goal is to find a way out of a sinister mansion haunted by murderous dolls. It was developed by Wasper Games and originally released on July 10, 2024.

The game places strong emphasis on a tense and claustrophobic atmosphere, using sound, sudden jump scares, and lighting to create fear and psychological tension, including voices, hallucinations, and unsettling moments.

Gameplay

Alessia’s Dollhouse is a first-person horror game that blends exploration, puzzle-solving, and survival horror elements. Players take on the role of a pizza delivery person who, upon entering an isolated mansion, finds themselves trapped in a hostile environment dominated by supernatural puppets.

The primary objective is to survive attacks from animated dolls while attempting to escape the mansion. Gameplay involves exploring dark, claustrophobic environments, collecting key items (such as fuses, access cards, and journals), activating mechanisms, and evading enemies with distinct behaviors.

Some enemies, like the puppet Elizabeth, only move when they are not being observed, requiring the player to maintain constant visual contact to avoid being attacked. Others, such as Vladimir Petrov, pursue the player aggressively, forcing them to flee and hide. Lighting plays a crucial role, as certain creatures become active—or more dangerous—in the dark.

The game features save points in specific locations, allowing players to resume progress after death. There are also narrative segments delivered through scattered notes and audio recordings, which gradually reveal the backstory of the mansion and its puppet-obsessed creator.

Spoiler: looks like the mansion’s creator sought to bring her puppets to life, possibly using criminals as raw material for her creations. Messages found throughout the game suggest madness, regret, and obsession on the part of the protagonist/antagonist, Alessia.
